Practice yoga in clear mountain air - sip your chai while lazily admiring the white peaks of the Himalayas amidst
the blossoms of the fruit orchard – soak up the beauty of fragrant forests cheerfully dotted with red rhododendrons
– admire the awesome majesty of tigers and elephants in their natural surroundings – meditate to the sound of the
Ganges River rolling by as sacred chants accompany the sunset - visit temples which have been places of worship
for thousands of years and soak up the energy of spiritual devotion hanging in the air…

Our trip begins in Delhi, where we meet on 18 March for our Northbound departure to spend
three days at Sonapani, a beautiful Himalayan village deep in nature. We will enjoy our daily yoga
and meditation practice in the fresh air, and take walks in the scenic surroundings. Quiet and
relaxing, the daily rhythm will be set by sunrise and sunset, as we shrug off the tensions of the
daily lives we left behind.

Our next stop is Corbett National Park, where we will stay two days at the Dhikala Forest Lodge,
far from gsm towers and urban noise - this is really getting away from it all! We will go on open jeep
safari to witness the most iconic animals of India up close - Tigers, elephants, langur
monkeys, macaques, several types of deer, crocodiles, peacocks and kingfishers, and, if we’re lucky,
we might even spot a shy leopard. Our daily yoga will be practiced to the songs of the hundreds of
species of birds that inhabit or migrate through the reserve.

Our last stop is Rishikesh, a charming town of temples and ashrams, surrounded by forests and
situated in the Himalayan foothills along the holy Ganges River. During our five days there we
will be practicing yoga with Surinder Singh, visiting local temples, ashrams and nearby places of
natural beauty, and meeting with people who devote their lives to yoga and spiritual pursuits.

From Rishikesh we return to Delhi for last minute shopping and an evening meal together
before flying back home overnight.

This 10-day journey costs 1300 euro and includes all transfers within India,
all meals and accommodation, yoga instruction, organizational and guiding fees, plus any admission fees.

International travel to and from Delhi is not included.
